Product Description
Type Fountain pen with a hooded nib
Product Name Hero 340, with a design copied from the Parker 61 but clearly marked as a Hero. This is a light pen, not a luxury writing instrument, but is quite a bit nicer than most Heros and certainly better than most modern Heros.
Manufacturer and Year Hero, China, we think it was made in the 70's or 80's.
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System There is an aerometric squeeze filling system, not removable.
Color Lightly lined gold (plated? washed?) metal barrel and cap with black plastic section.
Nib Fine hooded nib, not sure of the material.
Condition Excellent condition with light wear on barrel, slightly more wear on cap. We tested the pen and did not find any leaks, and the ink flow was very good. No plating wear.
