Product Description
Type |
Vintage Italian safety pen in excellent working condition with a flexible nib. See the video on You Tube which shows this pen in action. |
Product Name | Unknown |
Manufacturer and Year | Unknown who exactly made the "Invicta" brand, but we've heard they operated in Florence in the 1920s-30s. |
Length | 4-3/4" |
Filling System | Safety pen, in excellent working condition. (To use a safety pen, you uncap it, fill the barrel with ink, then operate the knob on the end of the barrel to extend the nib. The nib seals when fully extended, allowing you to write with an ink-primed nib. When you are done writing, point the nib at the ceiling and operate the knob to retract the nib. Then screw on the cap and the pen is sealed.) |
Color | 18 KR which means gold plated, or perhaps rolled gold. |
Nib | 14k Warranted nib, good tipping material. Excellent flex, almost what you'd consider to be full flex. (We'll adjust it further before shipping.) |
Condition | Very nice working condition. There is a lot of wear to the gold plating and some very light dents, but all in all it is quite gorgeous and fun to write with. |
