Product Description
Type Unique modern luxury fountain pen
Product Name Hysek.
Manufacturer and Year Hysek, made in France -- 1999-2006, This is a current model but not a current design, the striped lacquer is currently only offered in the Lady Hysek and the cap band says Jorg Hysek which the company stopped being called in 2006.
Length 5-11/16"
Filling System Cartridge or converter, international configuration. Converter installed in the pen. (You unscrew the end of the pen opposite the nib, and the section is released.)
Color Striped black lacquer barrel with palladium plated trim and section. It looks almost like a double sided pen or like a very short desk pen. The pen sleeve is part of the design and has the pen clip on it.
Nib 18k medium nib with a cursive italic cut for line variation. It is labeled B for broad (which you see near the barrel threads after unscrewing the barrel). We're guessing it started as a broad and got modified to a medium cursive italic. Very smooth. See the writing sample below.
Condition Near Mint condition. There's some polishing marks and handwear on the palladium and a spot of wear on the pen sleeve. No cracks, scratches, chips, or dents. Working very well.
