Product Description
Type | lever filler fountain pen. Original paper label on the cap. |
Product Name | Keystone may be the model or may be the brand name .... we know that Wearever used Keystone as one of its model names, and this pen looks very much like the Wearever-related Jefferson pens. |
Manufacturer and Year | See above, probably 1920s-30s |
Length | 5-1/4" |
Filling System | Lever filler (new sac, working well) |
Color | Green striped with gold plated trim. |
Nib | Steel nib marked "Iridium Tipped USA" -- probably a replacement, not a quality nib. |
Condition | The plastic is in excellent condition cosmetically with a really nice and even color. No cracks or chips. The main weakness (aside from the cheap nib) is the plating wear ... these pens had very thin plating and it wore off easily. The cap rings are loose. |
