Color Black with fine wavy gold lines. This model is similar to the model IV ("dense, tight repeating engraved gold wave pattern on a Jet enamel-finish cap and barrel"), but on this variant, the lines are tight, fine, and wavy. There's a really great write-up of these uncatalogued Lady Sheaffer variants at PenHero.
Nib MEDIUM steel nib is marked Sheaffer made in USA, and the chalkmark saying "MEDIUM $10.00" is present on the section. It is a short Triumph style nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dark, shiny, and shimmery pen in an attractive design. The barrel looks nice with the gold wavy lines intact. There is a small area mid-barrel where the lines have little pieces of gunky black and slightly green tinged areas. This is more pronounced on the cap, especially toward the top. (It might be possible to clean this, but we didn't want to risk damaging the gold paint ub the grooves.) The section looks good and has most of the original chalk mark. There are no imprints.
