Filling System Sheaffer cartrdiges are required. We tested squeeze converters, button converters and piston converters, and none will fit. The mechanical Pencil takes 0.9mm leads. We will include a packet of leads and some cartridges.
Color The body is white enamel with detailing in gold. These fish-scale patterns are called Paisley by Sheaffer.
Nib Fine. The nib is steel and is marked Sheaffer USA. It is a short Triumph style nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no dents or dings. This is a beautiful, elegant set with lots of shine and with lovely patterning of deep gold outline with pure white inlay. The fountain pen has some microscratching at the very top of the cap and discoloration under the clutch ring. It is otherwise pristine. The mechanical pencil has a crack at the cap band and the cone has microscratching. There are a few very small scratches on the cap band also. Otherwise, it looks excellent. There are no imprints on either the pen or pencil.
