Product Description
Type | fountain pen |
Product Name | Lady Sheaffer X -- part of the Skripsert line (It's marked in chalk on the section, or via a sticker on the cap) |
Manufacturer and Year | Sheaffer - 1959 |
Length | 5-3/8" |
Filling System |
This comes with a new old stock Sheaffer squeeze converter. It also takes Sheaffer style cartridges. The filling system is guaranteed to work. Please note: The pens with the shorthand nib will not take a converter, so we will send a few cartridges with that pen. Strange, but they might have come from an earlier or later production run. |
Color | The body is ivory enamel over metal, with the detail in gold. I've heard this "Tulle" pattern described as crushed chicken wire. |
Nib | Two-tone gold masked Triumph nib. |
Condition | Brand new, new old stock, stored away in cellophane sleeves for 40+ years. It is absolutely perfect with no scatches or dings. These Lady Sheaffers are very hard to find in good condition, as the finish damaged easily, so finding one in this pristine condition is a rarity. |
