Color The body is light colored gold enamel in a moire pattern with matching cap and barrel bands that are separated by a rhinestone encrusted decorative band. The band protrudes from the rest of the pen and acts as a roll stop. The section is a red orange called mandarin red, and matches the color of the plastic inside the barrel.
Nib EXTRA-FINE short triumph style two-tone nib. Mild "Waverly" upturn on the tip.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautiful, elegant, shiny pen in a shimmery gold pattern. The cap and barrel have light to moderate microscratching. Although it is difficult to see scratches on this surfance, they can be made out with magnification. Even though the rhinestones on the raised cap band are all intact, they are significantly darkened and do not sparkle. The band holding them has pitting and plating wear. The decorated borders above and below the band look great. The top of the cap has some small dents and dark marks. The end of the barrel has a few tiny chips of paint. There are no imprints.
