Filling System Takes Lamy's M21 refills, which are compatible with the D1 standard. You extend the tip by clicking the button at the top of the cap. To select your desired color, hold the pen so that the desired colored tab faces upward (or the clip, if you want black), and the color appears.
Color Black Makrolon (polycarbonate plastic reinforced with fiberglass). It has a stainless steel clip and a matte finish. The section is silver and there are colored strips visible around the top that indicate the different colors.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a medium size pen that has good weight and that has an industrial appearance. The barrel does have some pressure marks/dings that are visible under magnification, though it must be said that this material makes it very difficult to see them. The red strip at the top is a little faded along the edges, but is still visible; the green and blue strips look great. The stainless cone has one shiny mark and some tiny scratches. The imprint is clear.
