Product Description
Type Vintage fountain pen with matching mechanical pencil in box.
Product Name 26P fountain pen and 125 pencil (the model numbers are marked on the caps and on a sticker on the box).
Manufacturer and Year Lamy, West Germany - vintage unknown but the style suggests the 1970s.
Length 5-5/16" fountain pen, 5-7/16" pencil.
Filling System The pen takes a generic international ink cartridge (unlike later Lamys, which take their proprietary cartridges) Pelikan converters are supposed to fit this pen well. One original ink cartridge is included and still has some good ink in it. The pencil takes 0.5mm leads, which it extends via the typical modern cap-actuated, aka "repeater" aka click mechanism. We'll include a small packet of leads.
Color Cylindrical brushed aluminum barrels with black Fiberglass caps, similar to the Lamy 2000.
Nib MEDIuM steel nib is smooth with lovely tipping material, and has a little spring to it.
Condition Near mint condition. No cracks, chips, dings, dents, or plating wear. There's some very light handwear and faint marks, no real wear. The set is in its original case with a Lamy tag written in Hebrew. The clear outer sleeve is a little grubby.
Both writing instruments are personalized with writing in Hebrew. We think it's some sort of school or graduation inscription.
