Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name The cap is labeled Lamy 50, but this also gets called CP50 and CP1 as it is the precursor to the modern CP1. From what we can tell it's actually a CP 1 in the 50 finish.
Manufacturer and Year Lamy, W Germany -- 1970s or 80s.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System Takes Lamy-style cartridges. The converters do not fit. We will ship the pen with a new cartridge.
Color 50 finish, or brushed steel. There is a black accent line on the barrel and a matching black section. The model is a bit funny and has a point coming out of the cap. We tried to photograph it below.
Nib 14k Fine nib. The nib has 585 stamped on it and it has rhodium plating. Some of the plating is coming off of the nib. It's a smooth minimalist nib.
Condition Superior condition. Some plating wear on the nib and a few less than perfect looking spots on the finish. No dents, cracks, scratches or major finishing wear.
