Type Fountain pen from a company that was eventually folded into the Lamy family
Product Name 99. The barrel is labelled "Lamy 99", and the piston knob says 99e, which we understand indicates a pen with a screw-on plastic cap. Other models (99Ce) had a metal slip-on cap.

Filling System Piston filler. It's fully tested and is working well.
Color Black body and section with cut outs in the barrel serving as an ink viewing window.
Nib MEDIUM 14k gold nib, marked "585". The piston knob is marked with an M for medium, and it looks to us like a medium.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light to moderate handwear and scratching. The cap band has scratching, but looks great, no brassing or plating wear. The clip has brassing along the sides and around the top. Ink view windows are clear. No cracks, chips, dents, or ink stains. The imprints are clear.
