Product Name CP1. Lamy has a very utilitarian philosophy, and the name stands for "cylindrical pen No 1."
Manufacturer and Year Lamy, made in Germany. They made this model for years, and still produce the fountain pen.
Length 5-3/8" (slim)
Filling System Uses the black Lamy Z27 converter, or Lamy cartridges. A converter is installed. The pen requires this converter and NOT the red Z28 because the little nubbins on the sides of the Z28 won't fit into the narrow barrel.
Color Cylindrical matte black body (slim). Brushed steel clip.
Nib Extra-Fine Steel Nib, with a black coating. Very stealthy!
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, dents, or dings. This is a sleek, slim pen in an even matte black color. The very top of the cap has some slight chipping in the coating, and you can see the metal peeking through. There are some tiny shiny blotches on the cap visible under magnification. The barrel looks great, with just some small shiny blotches seen under magnification. The clip looks great. The LAMY imprint on the side of the clip is clear. We love the little clips at the end of the barrel that allow the cap to post securely!
