Type Multifunction writing instrument - ballpoint pen and mechanical pencil.
Product Name CP1 twin pen.
Manufacturer and Year Lamy, made in West Germany, according to the stamp on the underside of the clip -- vintage unknown but the style and imprint suggest the 1970s.
Length 5-7/16" long.
Filling System Twist mechanism - hold the lower half in one hand, and twist the upper half to the right to extend the ballpoint tip, or to the left for the pencil. Click the button at the end of the barrel if you need to advance the lead, or remove the button to access the eraser. The pen refills are Lamy's M21 ballpoint, and the pencil mechanism takes 0.5mm leads.
Color Cylindrical brushed steel finish body with a spring-loaded clip.
Condition Excellent condition, with just some light scuffs and marks or wear. Some small dings on the nose cone. The brushed finish is nice and even, with minimal cross-scratching. No personalization. The mechanisms in both pieces are working well.
