Color "Schwartz," also just called black, is a matte black lacquer. The barrel is ribbed lengthwise, and the section has crosswise ridges. It's an interesting texture, and prevents your fingers from sliding forward.
Nib Extra-fine 14k nib. The nib is two-tone matte black and gold. The Lamy nibs are easy to replace if a different tipping is desired. This nib is smooth and a bit springy.
Condition Near mint in box condition. No handwear. The pen is like new and while it might have been dipped, there's no evidence it was inked. It ships in a large cardboard Lamy box, with a spare blue Lamy cartridge and a polishing cloth. (Please note that the box includes the booklet for a different model, the Dialog 3. Some of the instructions are applicable to the Imporium.)
