Product Description
Type Modern fountain pen
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year LeBoeuf, made in Germany -- 1995. We have heard that the brand was associated with Elysee, and we do notice a similarity in design and construction. LeBoeuf was a vintage US pen maker, but these modern LeBoeufs bear no resemblance.
Length 5-9/16".
Filling System Piston converter included, and it can be removed so that the pen can take international style cartridges.
Color Heavy silver plated (or perhaps sterling, it's marked 925 under the clip) body and cap in a lined pattern, and the cap has an Australian opal on top. Gold plated trim and clip.
Nib MEDIUM LeBoeuf 18k two tone nib, marked M.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny, elegant pen that has good weight and an classy appearance. The cap and barrel have moderate microscratching. There is at least one miniscule dot of plating wear on the barrel. The flat gold piece at the end of the barrel has some small dots of microscratching. The cap band and clip have light microscratching. The clip ring has light plating wear. The top opal jewel is beautiful and seems to follow your eye gaze as you move the pen. The imprint is clear.
