Color Orange "rust" color over brass with gold lacquer. It also has gold plated trim. It is modeled after the cane gifted to Newton by the Duke of Marlborough and has the cane ornamentation on the cap.
Nib Fine gold plated steel Levenger Germany nib. It's very smooth and doesn't have a breather hole. It is labeled F.
Condition Superior condition with some small marks of wear. There is a tiny dent on the edge of the of the beveled stripes to the right of the clip and a few black marks in the lacquer.bubble like mark in the finish beneath the cap band and a similar one next to it in one of the beveled stripes. The gold trim has handwear and a few microscratches. No cracks, chips, or major scratches. Cleaned and tested, working well.
