Type Loiminchay fountain pen.
Product Name Mini Olympics, one of 338 fountain pens made, modeled off of the Mini Qian Long. The barrel band is marked, "040/080". (338 may have been the total produced in all colors, with 80 made in this color.)
Manufacturer and Year Loiminchay. Created in Germany and hand-turned in France. -- 2008.
Length Just a little under 5 inches not counting the cap's jewel. The junior size is about half an inch longer.
Filling System Takes international cartridges and converters. A new piston converter is installed.
Color Semi-transparent cracked ice patterned resin. It is a bright yellow orange. This color was just called, "Orange/Yellow." The end of the barrel is threaded for posting. The cap band has the five rings of the Olympics on it.
Nib Replacement nib. Extra Fine JoWo #6 steel nib. This is not the original nib for this pen but it is a high quality, smooth nib and doesn't look out of place with its two-tone features. We have JoWo #6 nibs in a variety of sizes, so we can install a different nib if you don't like extra fine.
Condition Superior condition. No cracks or chips, dings or dents, personalization, and only touches of plating wear on the cap imprints. The barrel band and cap band imprints are easily read. It has only trace amounts of handwear and is essentially new. Some discoloration of the section.
