Product Name Blackbird, but with a Swan nib (Swan was the highest quality of pens produced by Mabie Todd, whereas Blackbird was a lower grade) - the cap, barrel, and feed are labeled "Blackbird", and the nib is imprinted "Swan". 5240 on the end of the barrel.
Manufacturer and Year Mabie Todd & Co, England -- 1930s. Blackbird refers to the middle quality line of pens produced by Mabie Todd.

Color Green pearl marble celluloid with a chrome plated lever and clip.
Nib Fine 14k "Swan" nib. It is semi-flexible, with line variation from fine to double-broad. The tines spread fairly easily. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light scratching and handwear on the cap and barrel. The barrel has marks from the capping. The lever bar looks good. The section looks great, with no tool (or tooth) marks. The cap has some moderate to heavy scratching near the top. The clip has moderate scratching, and brassing and plating wear on the ball end and along the sides. The imprints are clear. Overall the pen looks very good in hand.
