Nib FINE Mabie Todd & Co. Swan nib is on the extra fine side, firm and fairly smooth with good tipping material remaing.
Condition Very nice condition. There is light wear and marks on the cap and barrel. The top of the cap has several cracks in the material, and we've included some close-ups of this in the photos. There is an inner cap, and the cracks are all located in that segment of the (outer) cap. With careful use, this area should remain stable, but we strongly recommend that you take extra care to minimize any sort of force to the cap. The cap bands have brassing along the edges. The clip has plating wear on the edges and brassing around the ball end. The lever bar has a lot of plating wear and flaking. The "pearl" portions of the material have deepened to an amber/caramel color. No dents, dings, or personalization. The barrel imprint is worn on the left edge but the right half of it is clear. The other imprints are clear. It's fully restored and working well.
