Product Name Mabie Todd Swan C2 (marked on the end of the barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Mabie Todd & Co. New York -- year unknown, probably the 1920s. The pen is imprinted "Mark Cross, London" on the top, so it was probably sold in the department store. Mark Cross was an American brand/store that had an outlet in London.
Length 5-1/8"
Filling System Eye dropper filler. It has been cleaned, and tested it and it's working very well.
Color Black chased hard rubber. 1/2" gold cap band made of 14k gold.
Nib Stub nib is marked Mabie Todd & Co New York. It's nicely flexible and produces good line variation. See writing sample below.
Condition Superior condition. Light wear on cap band. Dark and well defined chasing. Imprints are mostly readable.
