Nib |
Swan 14ct Mabie Todd & Co Made in ??? (can't see this part of the nib) Nib. Excellent condition, with plenty of tipping material remaining. Line variation extra fine to broad. We tuned this nib as well as we could, but we still found that it was a little temperamental with some inks and prone to railroading. We experienced railroading with Sailor Jentile ink, but had much better luck and no railroading with Hero Blue-Black. Please don't expect to be able to achieve maximum flex with all inks, and we won't be able to adjust it to work with your favorite ink if it proves balky, though of course we'll give you a refund if you decide to return it. Please see writing sample. Excellent hairlines and responsiveness. |
Condition | Excellent, gently restored condition. Very smooth and shiny. It writes and fill very well. No cracks or chips or bite marks. Light handwear to barrel and cap, some brassing of the plating. |
