Manufacturer and Year Marlen, Italy - early 2000s. This pen is part of the Journal series, released in 2001, and characterised by its very beautiful resins, elegant shape, with sterling silver cap bands, and Marlen's trademark Corinthian column, sterling silver clip.

Filling System Button filler, with button accessible under the blind cap at the bottom end of the pen. A throw-back to the early 1900s button filler models produced by Parker.
Color Transparent blue demonstrator with sterling silver trim. The trim has various design patterns (different on cap ring, trim, and clip). The trim ring at the end of the barrel spells out J-O-U-R-N-A-L.
Nib 18k medium nib. It has an M imprinted on it.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, with paperwork and a bottle of red ink. No cracks, chips, dings, or dents. There are some light scratches on the inside of the bottom of the cap, and some of the threads on the section are a little rough to the touch. The imprints are clear.
