Manufacturer and Year Marlen, Italy - early 2000s. This pen is part of the Journal series, released in 2001, and characterised by its very beautiful resins, elegant shape, with sterling silver cap bands, and Marlen's trademark Corinthian column, sterling silver clip.

Filling System Button filler, with button accessible under the blind cap at the bottom end of the pen. A throw-back to the early 1900s button filler models produced by Parker.
Color Pink resin with grey wispy bits and flecks of glitter. Sterling silver trim. The trim has various design patterns (different on cap ring, trim, and clip). The trim ring at the end of the barrel spells out J-O-U-R-N-A-L.
Nib Broad 18k two-toned nib. It has a B imprinted on it. It's very springy, with excellent tipping material. Please see our writing sample in the photos.
Condition Excellent + condition. No cracks, chips, dings, or dents. Very light scratching and handwear. The ball at the end of the clip has some brassing, but the rest of the trim looks fantastic. The imprints are clear.
