Manufacturer and Year Merlin, Denmark or the Netherlands, 1950s. There's some suggestion the pens were manufactured in Germany.
Length 4-1/2" -- this is a very slender and small pen
Filling System Button filler (we replaced the sac)
Color Green Striped - pearly green stripes interrupted by black pinstripes. Gold filled or plated trim.
Nib FINE 14k nib. It's soft and bouncy, with a bit of flex and subtle line variation. Nib is imprinted with an image of a sun in a diamond.
Condition Excellent condition for this pretty little pen. The color is clear and consistent and the pen has a nice sheen. Barrel and cap have light marks, but no deep scratches. The clip and trim were very thinly plated to begin with, and very little of the plating remains. No cracks or chips. The imprints are clear.
