Product Description
Type Fountain pen
Product Name Model 126
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- Early 1970s.
Length 5-5/16"
Filling System Piston filler. It's been cleaned and tested and is working well.
Color Black barrel and ribbed sterling silver cap. Sometimes the cap is sterling but the clip isn't. In this case both are sterling and they have separate hallmarks to verify it. The barrel has a matching silver plated band on the piston knob. There is a black tinted viewing window and the o-ring near the piston threads is yellow.
Nib Broad 18k nib. It was advertised as white gold but has obvious masking wear. The nib is springy with nice round looking tipping material.
Condition Superior condition with nib wear. The pen has noticeable handwear but no real scratches. There are some tarnish spots on the cap and clip. No cracks, scratches, or dents on the pen. The viewing window is clear but does have what looks like staining. The cap snaps nicely when capped.
