Filling System Piston filler. Tested and working well.
Color Midnight blue marble. Black finials. Gold plated clip and tip. Poe's signature is etched to the right of the top of the clip.
Nib Medium 18k gold nib. A raven is engraved on the nib.
Condition Excellent condition, in box with paperwork. There is a short hard-to-see hairline crack in the cap lip, at least we think it is a crack and not a scratch, and so we do not recommend posting. We have priced the pen accordingly (we usually sell these for around $750). Included below is a close-up photo of this possible crack, as well as a small round blemish near the cap lip. There are also two small chips at the end of the barrel near the band. There is some microscratching on the cap and barrel. The imprints are clear. There are some polishing marks, but no tarnish or wear on the trim. Comes in original collector's box, with paperwork and outer cardboard sleeve.
