Product Name Montblanc Lead Crystal Inkwell and Base.
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 1970s.
Length The base is 4-3/4" by 3-3/16". The space for the inkwell measures a bit over 1-5/8" by 1-5/8". The inkwell is 1-11/16" square for the crystal cube portion and is 2-3/4" tall with the opening.
Color The base is black with a gold plated area for personalization. Some people think that it is lucite but we don't know what the base is made of. The inkwell is made of 24% lead oxide crystal with what looks like a brass opening and lid. The inkwell is a cube shape with faceted edges.
Condition Near Mint condition. No chips or scratches on the inkwell or base. They both have original stickers and clear design elements. No personalization. The felt on the bottom of the base is perfect. The metal components of the inkwell have some polishing marks.
