Product Description
Type Unusual ballpoint pen from Montblanc
Product Name Leonardo Da Vinci
Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany. 1979-1981.
Length 5-1/2".
Filling System Takes standard Montblanc refills. A working refill is included in the pen. You click the end to depress the refill. To replace the refill, press the little tab below the imprint, which compresses a spring and releases the inner mechanism. Don't press too hard, as the spring is simply plastic and you do not want to break it.
Color Brushed and smooth titanium with chrome trim. The pen has three facets on top and a rounded side, similar to a ship's shape. There is a white Montblanc emblem on the top of the cap.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks or dents. This is a uniquely shaped pen that is both faceted and rounded, and is very shiny. The body has moderate wear with occasional small nicks, especially near the cone. The clip has some light scratches, and plating wear near the top. The clicker has some plating wear on the sides, but operates smoothly and the Montblanc emblem on the top looks great. There are some scratches around the hole for the tab that releases the innards. The imprints are clear.
