Filling System Clicker/button actuated system to extend and retract the tip. The pen takes vintage Montblanc slender ballpoint refills but there are other refills that work. Japanese ballpoint refills are the correct length but they don't have narrow enough tips to go through the cone hole. We have installed a working Fisher 1 For All refill in the pen. This type of refill is no longer produced but they can still be purchased. If you remove the refill we have installed, you will find the replacement refill can require a bit of fiddling to get it to extend and retract the tip (the tip doesn't extend very far, but you can write with it). The original Montblanc refill will be included in the box, however it does seem to skip so there might not be much ink left in it.
Color Silver plated with a satin, or brushed matte, finish. The Montblanc emblem is in the top of the cap.
Condition New in Box. Any marks are from time and storage. Ships with original barrel sticker in original box.
