Filling System Takes standard international cartridges and converters. A Montblanc converter is installed.
Color Black resin barrel. Gold-plated trim, including finials, cap band, clip, section, and nib. The band near the top of the cap is decorated with an olive wreath and set with a faceted, sparkling blue sapphire.
Nib MEDIUM Montblanc 14k gold nib marked 4810. Montblanc doesn't mark its nibs with an indication of the width, but there is a sticker on the outer box that classifies the nib as medium.
Condition Excellent +, in box, with paperwork, and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a specially designed pen that has a classic look but that is unique in its commemorative top gold band that is ornate and that sparkles with a bright blue sapphire. The barrel has faint scratches toward the end caused by posting, both above and below the gold band. The cap has a few light marks. The cap band looks good. The clip has some microscratching, as does the top gold commemorative band, primarily on the lower band. The blue sapphire is bright and shiny. The Montblanc logo is perfect. All imprints, and the serial number, are clear.
