Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany -- 1978-82, it has a split ebonite feed from 75-90, a clear viewing window from 78-93, threaded piston threads from 75-85, and no Germany imprint from the late 70s and early 80s.

Filling System Piston filler. Fully cleaned and tested.
Color Black, gold plated trim. It has the matte collar introduced circa 1980.
Nib EXTRA FINE. The nib is a spring-y 18C Montblanc 4810 nib. It is an unlabeled nib and we judge it to be an extra fine. The single tone nib is in excellent condition. It has the split ebonite feed.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen looks great with no ink in the viewing window or on the plastic piston seal. The viewing window has light surface scratches. There is brassing on the barrel band (see photo below) and around the letters on the wider cap band. The clip has touches of wear as well. The pen has handwear throughout but no major scratches, or wear. No cracks or dents.
