Manufacturer and Year Montblanc, Germany. 1996-2010. This version of the 149 has brass piston threads, the late plastic feed, and a tricolor 18k nib. It's marked "Made in Germany" on the underside of the clip.

Filling System Piston filler. Tested and working well.
Color Black, gold-plated trim.
Nib EXTRA-FINE 14k Montblanc 4810 nib, firm and smooth.
Condition Excellent condition. There are a few small scratches on the barrel. Light microscratches on the trim, but no brassing. The ink viewing window has a scratch on the outer surface, likely caused by the cap lip. No staining in the ink view window. The star on the top of the cap is perfect.
