Color Coral lacquer barrel, cap, and finials. A silver colored snake with an antiqued finish serves as the clip. The snake has glittering green spinel eyes.
Nib Medium 14k nib. (There is a "F" for fine sticker in the box, but the nib looks more like a medium to us) Its only label is 585 which verifies the gold content. It's smooth with lovely tipping material and springy.
Condition Excellent condition in box. No cracks, dents, or personalization. The barrel looks great, but there are some light scratches on the cap surface, visible under magnification. The imprints are clear and the pen is working very well. This model was released in 2016 as an homage to Montblanc's original fountain pen from 1906. Many special edition pens are oversized to draw attention to themselves, but this pen pays tribute to its heritage with a slender profile. The nib is also a throwback, nice and springy, and is decorated with a snake motif, continuing the theme of the clip.
