Filling System Piston filler. We have tested it and it's working very well.
Color Black guilloche barrel with gold trim. There is a faceted ruby set in a bezel on the clip. The guilloche patterning is a reminder of her turbulent life, as well as a reference to her novel "The Waves". Woolf's signature is reproduced on the blind cap.
Nib Fine 18k Nib. It's very smooth and a bit springy. It's decorated with an image of the two elm trees under which her body lies.
Condition Superior condition. The pen has some handwear and clear imprints. The ruby on the clip looks perfect. The pen looks great, but you do see signs of usage. Microscratching on the gold trim, as well as the section. The pen ships in a Montblanc Writers Edition Virginia Woolf box, with booklet and outer cardboard sleeve.
