Manufacturer and Year Montegrappa, Italy -- 2001 (stamped on a trim ring on the section)
Length 5-1/2" long.
Filling System Takes international-style cartridges or converters. A Montegrappa converter is installed.
Color Vermeil (gold plated over sterling silver). The body is octagonal with a Greek key pattern. The end piece, section, and cap band are opalescent green resin.
Nib BROAD 18k nib. The hallmark is stamped below the nib width and is currently hidden in the section.
Condition Very nice condition, in box with paperwork. There are scattered spots of pitting on both cap and body, but no major scratches. (The grooved engraving is especially prone to the pitting.) There are some areas of patina. The resin pieces have microscratching. This is a large, impressive pen that is very elegant and beautiful. The imprints are crisp and clear. The box is in excellent condition, with hardly any wear. There is some shop wear on the outer cardboard box. Paperwork is stored in a drawer underneath the platform.
