Condition Excellent + condition, in box (not the original box). The celluloid barrel and cap are lovely, with very light wear. The silver trim has light polishing marks, but no dents or dings. The imprints are otherwise clear. This is an unusual color for this particular pen - it's not a color in the usual Extra 1930 lineup, and we only see a few mentions of this dark or midnight blue celluloid for this model.
The current Extra 1930 model comes with a celluloid section, though we've come across some older (2010s) examples that have a sterling section. Montegrappa does offer the option to custom configure this model, and the dark blue celluloid is available that way, though some of the details are slightly different in the configurator - the cap band and nib look slightly different, for example. This specific arrangement appears to be relatively rare, at any rate, and the deep blue is a wonderful contrast with the sterling silver trim.
