Filling System Lever filler - We've fully restored it and it's working perfectly.
Color Dark Green with Gold trim. The cap has concentric lines on the bottom half. The fountain pen has a brushed silver section. The cap band is engraved: "From The Gretchen Girls "46"."
Nib FINE gold nib is unique in appearance with a strong up-turn at the tip. The section has some pitting, which is common in these Fingertips.
Condition Very nice condition. This is a dark green, shiny pen that has classic and unique 1950s styling. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching all over. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The lever has moderate microscratching. The cap has cracks alongside the edges of the top portion of the clip that goes over the top of the cap. The brushed steel section has some patches of pitting near the top. The cap band has moderate microscratching and a few little bubble marks. It is engraved: "From The Gretchen Girls "46"." The clip is slightly awry and has a few thin lines of pitting near the top of the clip. The imprint is clear.
