Product Description
Type Fountain pen, extra small!
Product Name Unknown - it very similar to a 94A pen we've had, but is not marked with a model number on the barrel. Maniflex nib.
Manufacturer and Year The Moore Pen Co., Boston, Mass., USA - circa early 1940s
Length 4-5/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaed the sac and it's working well.
Color Mostly black, with a lighter colored cap finial that we're calling yellow. We can see just hints of some pearliness in spots. Gold plated trim.
Nib FINE nib is marked Moore Maniflex 14k. It is modestly flexible, with good tipping, and feels smooth on paper. There's a short crack coming down from the breather hole, so it should not be over-flexed. See our writing sample below.
Condition Very nice condition. There is moderate scratching on the cap and barrel. Most of the trim has brassing and plating wear. The clip has some pitting. Fully restored and working well.
