Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown
Manufacturer and Year The Moore Pen Co., Boston, Mass., USA - circa 1940s.
Length Just a hair under 5".
Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Grey marble finish with gold plated trim. Really good color. Single narrow cap band. Clip has a "hump" design.
Nib Warranted 14K #3 FINE with flex (see photo of writing sample). This is undoubtedly a replacement of the original Moore branded nib, but it's very nice with excellent every day flex.
Condition Excellent condition. No chips, dings, dents, or personalization. There's wear and brassing on the clip, cap band, and lever -- the original plating was very thin on these late Moores. The section has tool marks, but the finish on the barrel and cap looks really nice. The imprint is readable. It's fully restored and working well.
