Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown, but we're guessing it was an entry level pen since it has thinly plated trim and a steel nib. It looks very similar to the 94-A pens we've had before, but there is no model number imprinted in this one, and the trim is slightly different.
Manufacturer and Year The Moore Pen Co., Boston, Mass., USA - circa 1940s.
Length Just a hair over 5".
Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Green marble finish of black and vibrant green with gold plated trim. Really good color. The cap band is a single, wide one, with a pattern of small squares of crosshatching on it. It has a high-placed Military style clip.
Nib FINE Moore Iridium Duo-Tip #6 nib is smooth and firm with nice tipping material.
Condition Excellent condition. No chips, dings, dents, or personalization. It's fully restored and working well. There are a few small expansion cracks on the barrel end, but they are purely a cosmetic flaw (see photos). The trim shows some brassing and plating wear, especially the cap band and the lever. The plastic surfaces are smooth and shiny with only light scratches.
