Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen.
Product Name "The Tourist"
Manufacturer and Year Morrison Fountain Pen Co., made in New York - circa 1930s.
Length 5-1/16"
Filling System Lever filler, we've installed a new sac and it's working well.
Color Black plastic barrel and cap with golr plated trim.
Nib FINE steel Morrison #5 nib is quite firm. It appears to have once been gold plated, but almost all of the gold plating has worn away. We've straightened it out a bit since the photos were taken.
Condition Very nice condition. There's some very light scratching on the barrel and cap, and the barrel bulges out just a tiny bit where the lever is connected into it. The ball of the clip is a bit dented and off-center, and most of the gold plating has worn away from it, though on the cap band the plating is mostly intact, with just two spots of brassing. The lever has some plating wear, but not as much as the clip. No cracks or chips, and no personalization. The pen has been restored and it's working well.
