Filling System Captive converter fountain pen. The converter is accessed via the blind cap, and the barrel can be removed to use cartridges.
Color Dark red with matte finish. Shiny gold plated trim bands (4, including the cap lip). Matte gold cap band and cap top piece. Cap band has an etched pattern of waves as does the disc on the flat end of the cap.
Nib FINE Gold Plated Steel 1911 nib
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. We don't think the pen has been inked. This is a nice-looking pen with a clean red matte finish. There is no scratching on the cap or barrel. The gold band near the end of the barrel has some very light plating wear, or perhaps the original plating was unevenly done. The cap band and top piece look great. The clip is perfect. The barrel imprint is a little faint toward the end.
