Color Chinese Red vegetal resin cap and barrel, with 24k gold plating.
Nib 18k medium nib.
Condition Excellent condition in box. There is fine pitting on the cap and barrel of the pen. The plating doesn't seem very thick, as evidenced by areas of brassing at frequently touched spots (especially the top of clip and cap, end of piston knob, and around the cap lip), as well as microscratching. We left the surface largely as we received it, to avoid further plating wear. The pink dolphin imprint has some scratching, but still looks good. The red enamel detailing on the clip looks great. The imprints are all clear. Ships in original red leatherette box, with owner's booklet, and protective outer cardboard box.
