Condition Excellent condition. This is a beautifully colored, shiny, nice-sized pen. The cap and barrel have very light scratching. There are some shallow tooth marks on the cap on either side of the clip. The clip has some brassing and light plating wear, but is otherwise in great shape. The cap band has some brassing on the upper and lower edges. Cap finial has faded to a dark brown. The section looks fantastic. The barrel has light scratching, but no cracks, chips, or individual scratches standing out. The plunger knob (end piece) of the pen is faded to a dark brown, but there are no cracks or tool marks and it is working very well. The color of the burgundy marble is really strong. The imprints are clear.
*** Note: this pen's nib has a crack extending from the breather hole. While it is quite soft, YOU SHOULD NOT FLEX IT, otherwise we expect the crack will increase. If this happens, we cannot accept a return of the pen for a refund. If the crack scares you, you should return the pen before writing with it, or have the nib repaired at your own risk.***
