Condition Excellent condition. Some slight fading in the cap. Slight handwear and microscratching all over, but no major scratches, or cracks or chips. Model number is clearly imprinted on the end of the barrel. The barrel imprint is quite worn, but still readable. No bite marks or posting marks. There is some scratching on the section from capping.
In some of the period ads these cone caps look pointier, but this one is flat on the end. It doesn't look like it was broken and sanded down, because it is very smooth and uniform, however we cannot be sure. The cap looks great, no dings or dents. No cracks, dents, dings, or chips.
