Product Description
Type Fountain Pen
Product Name Parker 180.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA - they started making this model in 1977, but we're not sure when this particular finish was introduced. No date code.
Length 5-5/16 inches and slim
Filling System It takes Parker style cartridges, or you can fill it with bottled ink via a converter. A converter is installed in the pen.
Color Brushed stainless steel body and cap with gold plated trim and clip. Long black section with a grid pattern.
Nib MEDIUM gold nib. Usually Parker 180 nibs are reversible and marked as such, however this one is just marked "M" on the section. However, we found it wrote a smooth extra fine line when reversed.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks or dents. This is a sleek, slim pen that is very modern and nice-looking. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching with some longer scratches on both. Because of the brushed surface, the scratches aren't too noticeable. The black section is perfect. The gold end piece of the barrel has plating wear along the bottom edge. The top gold piece on the cap has some small dents along the upper edge and plating wear along the lower edge. Some pitting on the stainless steel section ring near the nib. The clip has plating wear along the arrow edge and light microscratching. The imprints are clear.
