Product Description
Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen, working well.
Product Name Parker 45 Classic. Classic refers to the cap material, but the brushed finish on the barrel and the satin finish on the cap make this a non-standard Parker 45.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, England -- 1967-70, based off of the cap tassie and color.
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Fountain pen takes Parker cartridges, or converters. We will include one cartridge.
Color Matte black body with unusual matte finish steel or chrome cap, chome trim, an arrow clip, and a conical cap tassie. The body and section plastic is very interesting with a "brushed" look that reminds us of the Lamy 2000.
Nib "D" steel nib. The nib collar is marked "D". These "D" nibs are usually left oblique stubs, but this has more of a square left without the angle.
Condition New old stock and in near mint condition with only one shiny scratch mark on the barrel, just below the trim ring. The section and barrel are very uniform in appearance. The cap, trim and tassie are beautiful. Imprints are clear. There are no cracks, chips, dents, serious or deep scartches. The pen is very handsome.
