Color The fountain pen has a velvety black barrel and section and brushed steel cap with gold plated trim. The ClipIt has a shiny, black holder, a sharp steel blade, and a yellowed cap.
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib, marked "M" on the feed.
Condition Excellent condition, in box, with instructions, and with no cracks, dents, or dings. The fountain pen section and barrel have some scratching. The barrel has more light scratching toward the end. The cap has moderate scratching but it retains its shine and luster. The clip has light scratching and some blotches of plating wear mainly near the arrow end. The top of the clip had some black schmutz that cleaned off. The top tassie has a few tiny chips along the edge and some small blotches of plating wear. The imprints are clear. The ClipIt black shiny holder has some moderate scratching. The yellowed plastic cover has mainly light scratching. The blade is still sharp and will cut paper. It would have been used primarly for cutting articles out of newspapers.
