Product Name Parker 45, they called the sets with the pen holder held magnetically in place "Magnetix."
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1960s.
Length The base is 8" x 4". The fountain pen is 6-1/4" long from the nib to the end.
Filling System Piston converter. It can be removed in order to use cartridges.
Color Cream colored onyx base and black pen with gold plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM steel nib is smooth and firm with lovely tipping, very smooth. It doesn't look like it has been used.
Condition Near mint. The pen and trumpet still have their chalk marks indicating price and nib size. The base is great with no nicks or chips. There's some tarnish on the plate. The gold plated end of the pen barrel is a little wiggly.
